George Dimitrov

George Dimitrov (June 18, 1882–July 2, 1949) was a Bulgarian Communist primarily responsible for developing the ideological formulation known as the United Front against fascism. He served as General Secretary of the Comintern from 1935 to 1943, and as the first Communist leader of Bulgaria from 1946 to 1949.
